Chicago Indoor Lacrosse League
CHILL Returns for Summer 2026 at The Edge Arena
The largest adult box lacrosse league in the area is back.
CHILL returns this summer for another season of fast-paced, highly competitive box lacrosse, and the league is entering its biggest season yet. What started as a small local box community has evolved into a full-fledged box lacrosse league, with consistent team identities, returning rivalries, new players joining every season, and a league atmosphere that keeps growing year after year.
Summer 2026 begins Monday, June 15 and runs for six straight Mondays, culminating with the championship on July 20. Games will run from 7:00–9:30 PM at The Edge Arena in Bensenville - the new home for both CHILL and the Naperville Bobcats.
And for the first time, CHILL will operate out of a box rink in a dedicated standalone facility where our players have priority.
The Edge Arena: Built for Box Lacrosse
This summer marks a major step forward for the league with the move into The Edge Arena’s single-rink, secondary facility. The setup creates a true box lacrosse environment from the moment players walk in the door.
The new rink features:
- A dedicated standalone box lacrosse floor with concrete playing surface
- Four locker rooms
- Full food and drink concessions open throughout every game night
- Permanent box lacrosse boards and infrastructure
- A true rink atmosphere perfect for the indoor game
Whether you’re playing, watching, or hanging around between games, the goal is simple: make Monday nights feel like a real box lacrosse experience. Grab food, have a drink, watch the late games, and spend the night around people who love the sport.
What Makes CHILL Different
CHILL has quickly become one of the strongest adult box lacrosse communities in the Midwest because it balances high-level competition with an atmosphere that welcomes new players into the game.
Teams want to win. Rivalries are real. The pace is fast. But there’s also a major focus on growing box lacrosse and bringing new people into the sport. Every season has seen experienced players helping newer players learn the indoor game while teams continue building stronger identities and deeper rosters.
League play includes:
- NLL rules with certified officials
- Fast-paced 30-minute games
- Two games per night
- 10 total games (8 regular season + 2 playoff games)
- Jerseys included with registration
- Opportunities for both beginners and experienced players
- Competitive games in a welcoming environment
Whether you’ve played box your whole life or you’re completely new to the indoor game, CHILL is designed to give players a place to compete, improve, and have a good time doing it.
