Bobcats Fall to Undefeated Grizzlies

The Naperville Bobcats put up a fierce fight against the undefeated Grand Rapids Grizzlies this past Saturday, July 27, but ultimately fell short in a 13-7 loss at the Naperville Lacrosse Arena. The game was a chippy, physical affair that remained close until the final stretch, with the final score not fully capturing the intensity of the contest.

Despite the tough opposition, several Bobcats delivered strong performances. Goaltender Bruce Fougere (#29) had a stellar night between the pipes, standing tall against a relentless Grizzlies attack. On the offensive end, Evan Clement (#24) led the scoring for Naperville with a hat trick, netting three goals. Will Clemens (#2) also contributed to the effort with a goal and an assist.

Though the result wasn't what they hoped for, the Bobcats remain confident following the hard-fought game. The team will look to bounce back as they hit the road for a weekend in Wisconsin, facing the Madison Milkmen on Saturday, August 2, followed by a matchup with the Milwaukee Muskies on Sunday, August 3.
